In the 19th century and around 1970 several astrologers, like Alan Leo (the most prominent astrologer of the 19th century) have predict something about the millennium that we now live in. And not only everything that they had predicted came true, but it also confirms the legend about Mohabbat, the period in which he’ll be born and the reason of his birth (arrival/coming back to earth)

The keyword for the time Age of Aquarius shall be: charitable. We have good hopes that the coming years under the influence of Aquarius a synthesis will be created between science and humanity, between the latest ways of scientific research and the timeless storm of truth that flows through the subconscious of humans.

 

In the theory of the great Years it is about such a long period that one can impossibly say when a great month will make place for the next one. In our current years of the seventies (70) we feel without any doubt the influence of the time era of the Pisces; while we already also start to feel the influence of the Aquarius. An exiting fact of the new age is the sudden revival of the interest of the young generation for astrology. Alan Leo, the biggest astrologer of the 19th century, announced a lot of Aquarius-qualities that are seen in the current generation of our teens:

‘They are inclined to be unconventional and are because of that pre-eminently the reformers…. They are always friendly, humane….like art, music and literature…..get involved with al kind of humanity activities and movements… But in their private-lives they are chaotic, laborious, unreliable, deceitful and sly for their own benefit; selfish and inclined to pressurize their will and to satisfy their selfish needy minds; or capricious and fickle… For those that are able to wipeout their personality and live in the individuality of this sign, light and life is waiting for them. The meaning and goal of this sign has been put in one word: humanity.’

These words are for sure applicable to students all over the world – in India, Japan and the US, France, Germany, maybe even in Russia – who are showing with their protests their social movement, their interest for world peace and banishment of poverty en hunger, their saying in their adjunction and unfortunately also their short-sighted self-interest that Leo had predicted. One can capture the ideals of the younger generation in their voluntary work in third world countries and the several organizations that are related to the United Nations, but one also sees the chaos and the selfishness, however that is mostly because of their frustrations about the current situation and their goals.

These are the extremists of the Aquarius-instinct. But when one projects the ‘character’ of this sign on a period of two thousand years of our history, then one have to generalize. In the western approach of the problem with water- and air pollution we already have been able to establish the strong emphasis of the Aquarius­-sign on science: interest in our environment is one of the positive points of the Aquarius era.`

The polar sign Lion shall also influence the total view of the era of the Aquarius. Till a certain level can that be a positive influence, because it is in the nature of the Lion to use his warm and magnanimous nature in a practical way. Lion makes the leaders qualities more stronger: In combination with Aquarius’s humanitarian feelings it can lead to the best form of international supervision, by which maybe the idea of a world government can be realized, that till now in our century couldn’t be realized.

Every great month has its drawbacks: the dangers that have to be fought in the coming century, will be the result of conjunction of Uranus and Pluto which resulted between 1963 and 1980 in Virgo. This is a conjunction that is really rear. The children that are born in that period are influenced by it, an influence that for the first time is simultaneous with the era of Aquarius. They will be the hope or the despair of their time: they will save the world or destroy it. When they become adults and their influences will be noticedin society, we can expect that Virgo makes his influence felt over the entire world in all layers of the society and on different levels. Obviously these children will grow up – in China, India, America en Europe – in totally different environments, civilization en political situations.

Because of the individualism that is in humans it is impossible to foresee what exactly will happen. Individual babies will be born, with individual birth horoscopes and they will assert o.s. their own free will in their youth and their mature life. Without a doubtscience will be the subject of this era. Soon man (humans), who now stepped on the moon, will focus himself on the planets and possibly he shall before the end of the Aquarius gets tot it’s end, overcome the apparently undefeatable difficulties of exploration van other galaxies and bring it to a good end. The era of Aquarius will be exciting and stimulating, and sometimes dangerous. Obviously the new development on different areas of the technology brings so much risks with it that it also can turn against the humans. De first responsibility for the creation of the greatest new world or the destruction of the world where we till now live, lies on the new Aquarius (those that are born between 1963 and 1980)– this means our self.
